It’s Febrrruary. I’m really looking forward to the first rays of sunshine after the dark days of winter, but the snow is coming down more than it did during the holidays!
Now that it is so freezing cold, it’s almost a must to own a wonderful winter coat that is as fabulous and flattering as it is warm and comfortable. Valentine’s Day is around the corner, so it is pretty nice to have a good-looking coat that compliments your carefully picked outfit.
I recently bought myself this amazing pink winter coat by Hell Bunny. This coat is so ridiculously comfortable, I am tempted to never take it off again. Plus, a little princess pink never hurt anyone, right? That’s what I thought.
The fit resembles a fifties swing dress with a form-fitting top and a wider skirt, which makes this a really flattering coat! My coat falls on my knees, so I can easily wear skirts and dresses underneath it.
Faux fur and secret pockets
The coat has a luxurious faux-fur collar, which is a built-in shawl to keep you warm! The cuff on each sleeve is also decorated with some faux fur, which is the perfect finishing touch. Four fabric covered buttons on the front and two hidden buttons on the inside fasten the coat. Four extra decorative buttons complete the front of the coat.
Two decorative buttons on the backside emphasize the smallest part of the coat, creating a great silhouette.
The wide bottom part of the coat has two pockets hidden in the seam. These pockets aren’t very deep and you can’t close them, but they are quite helpful when you’re trying to keep your hands warm if you’ve left your gloves at home.
I am so happy with this lovely coat! Even though I’m looking forward to spring, I wouldn’t mind the temperature dropping a little longer, just so I can keep enjoying wearing this amazing coat.
Picking the right size
Make sure you check your size if you’re getting yourself a Hell Bunny coat! These coats tend to be a bit snug. It’s wise to buy a size up from what you usually wear. When I was younger, my mother used to always tell me to get a coat one size up, because you want to be able to wear a cardigan underneath your coat on cold days. It appears she is right, yet again.
So, the coat is obvious. Now I have to figure out what else I’m going to wear on Valentine’s Day. Did you already pick your Valentines outfit?
